2009 Talking Phone Book JDRF Campaign is officially open!

Once again The Talking Phone Book is proud to participate in The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Walk to Cure Diabetes.

THE CAUSE
Diabetes cuts a person’s life short on average by 10 years. Amazingly, the cure for this life-changing disease is within our reach! The purpose of our campaign is to help find the cure faster. 85% of JDRF funds go directly to support the research and we are glad to contribute to this dedicated organization and the cause.

THE MONEY
We are proud to announce that this year again Talking Phone Book will donate $5,000 in addition to the employees’ contribution!

THE WALK

This exciting family oriented event will be held at Martin’s Fantasy Island on Grand Island on Sunday, June 7^th. Save The Date!

• Register: visit www.jdrf.org and register for the walk. Our team name is Talking Phone Book.
• Raise money: once you are registered for the walk online, you will be able to create a personal fundraising page from which you can send out e-mails to your friends and accept donations.
• Walk and have fun with you family and friends at Fantasy Island!

A walker registration will give you a right to use all park venues except for riding the rides. You will be able to purchase a ‘Ticket to Ride’ for only $10.00 (lower than ANY admission price) or it is free if you raise $200.
